Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, April 8: The trials of boys and girls to be conducted by the Sports Department of the Punjab Government for the admission of players in sports wing schools during the session of the year 2025-26 from April 8 to April 12 began today at various sports venues in district SAS Nagar.
According to District Sports Officer Rupesh Kumar, the trials of football U-14 and U-17 only (boys) of Residential Sports Wing Khalsa Senior Secondary School Kurali will be held on 11 to 12.04.2025 at Khel Bhawan Sector-78, Mohali.
Today, on the first day of these trials, about 110 players from athletics, football, kabaddi, gymnastics and weightlifting participated and physical fitness test and skill test were conducted for these players.
According to the District Sports Officer, the trials of these sports wings will start from today and will continue till April 12 and the interested players can participate in the trials by bringing their Aadhaar card, birth certificate and original certificate of sports achievements to the designated sports venue by 8:00 am during these dates.
