MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa holds meeting with civil and police administration of Dera Bassi

He said that the river of drugs has caused great harm to the youth of Punjab. Now the time has come to fight a do-or-die battle to stop drugs and save the youth of Punjab. He called upon the Chief Minister of Punjab Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann to personally lead this fight. He said that the exemplary action being taken against drug smugglers across Punjab today has created panic among the smugglers.
Under the strict instructions given by the government, while action has been taken against the smugglers, arrangements are being made for treatment and rehabilitation of the youth affected by drugs to bring them into the mainstream of society. MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa on this occasion told the police and civil administration officers that the people coming to their offices with their problems should not face any kind of trouble and their problems should be solved on priority basis.
He said that one of the major programs of the government is complete eradication of drug addiction and providing facilities to the people in government offices, so people should be given maximum benefits and information about the government initiatives and public welfare schemes. SDM Derabassi Amit Gupta, DSP Derabassi Bikram Singh Brar, DSP Zirakpur Jaswinder Singh Gill and BDPO Derabassi Gurpreet Singh were present on the occasion.
