
Mayor Amarjit Singh Jeeti Sidhu Visits Athletics Summer Camp at Nature Park
SAS Nagar, June 4- Mohali Mayor Amarjit Singh Jeeti Sidhu today visited the summer training camp for children organized by the Mohali Athletics Association at Nature Park in Phase 8 (opposite YPS School), which began on June 2. He interacted with the participating children and blessed them. The camp, running until June 20, provides special athletic training from 6 to 8 a.m.

He interacted with the participating children and blessed them. The camp, running until June 20, provides special athletic training from 6 to 8 a.m.
On this occasion, Mayor Jeeti Sidhu said that this camp is highly beneficial for the physical and mental development of children. He stated that these children are the future champions, many of whom have won gold medals at the state level and are participating and winning medals at the national level.
Praising the Athletics Association’s initiative to provide free training to children and youth, he said that the municipal corporation and he himself are always available to support the organization in any way needed.
The camp is being led by Swaran Singh, General Secretary and Coach of the Mohali District Athletics Association, who said that their aim is to promote discipline, courage, and fitness among children through sports. This camp is not just for training but serves as a foundation to take children to national and international levels.
Their effort is to ensure every child recognizes and enhances their sporting abilities. Representatives of the association, along with the children and youth participating in the summer camp, were present on this occasion.
