Hoshiarpur- Children and staff were made aware about eye donation and organ donation at Silver Oak International Senior Secondary School Shahbazpur, a leading educational institution of the area. Under the guidance of the chairman of the institution, Tarlochan Singh, under the leadership of Principal Munisha Sangar, Secretary of the Eye Donation Organization Hoshiarpur Baljit Singh, Chairman Professor Bahadur Singh, Snet Retired Deputy Director Health Punjab Dr. Kewal Singh and eminent social worker and state award winner Bhai Barinder Singh made the school staff and children aware about eye donation, blood donation and organ donation.

This awareness camp has been organized for blood donation while alive and eye donation after death. Bhai Varinder Singh told others that the Rotary Club Hoshiarpur can provide free eye surgery to any person who is blind. 
He said that the club provides free treatment to such patients. Bhai Varinder Singh said that the club will provide free eye surgery, medicines, accommodation and everything else. Any person in need can contact the school and inform the Rotary Club Hoshiarpur and get his treatment done free of cost.
