
The martyrdom day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Shaheed Rajguru and Shaheed Sukhdev ji was celebrated at the Red Cross Integrated Rehabilitation Center for Drug Addicts, Nawanshahr.
Nawanshahr- The martyrdom day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev ji was celebrated at the Red Cross De-Addiction Center, Nawanshahr, which was presided over by Project Director Chaman Singh ji. He paid floral tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh ji. In his address, he highlighted the life of Shaheed Bhagat Singh ji and told that Shaheed Bhagat Singh ji had dreamed of liberating the country since childhood.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh became a rebel against the British government due to the bloody incident of Jallianwala Bagh and the lathi charge on Lala Lajpat Rai. He had learned patriotism from his ancestors. He did not throw a bomb in the assembly to kill anyone, but to awaken the government. Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev were hanged on 23 March 1931, which laid the foundation for liberating the country.
He explained in detail about the work done by Bhagat Singh in organizations. Mrs. Jaswinder Kaur (Councillor) expressed her views. She said that our young generation should adopt the thinking of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. So that the youth remember the martyrs in future.
On this occasion, Mrs. Kamaljit Kaur (Councillor) presented her views and said that we should read the biography of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and adopt his thinking and she said that our government should provide employment opportunities for the youth in the country so that the youth can be free from drugs.
Dinesh Kumar, Parvesh Kumar, Manjit Singh, Kamaljit Kaur, Jaswinder Kaur, Praveen Kumari, Kamla Rani and patients were present on this occasion.
