Chandigarh: 24th March, 2025: The Entrepreneurship and Incubation Cell (EIC) at Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh continues to shine on the global stage, as a second team from PEC has secured a wild card entry to the finals of the Asia-Pacific round of the Global Scaling Challenge, organized by the University of New Mexico, USA. With this, PEC now has two teams among the Top 8 in the Asia-Pacific region, reinforcing its strong presence in international business competitions.  
The Global Scaling Challenge is a prestigious competition where students develop real-world business scaling strategies, showcasing their expertise in market expansion, investment analysis, and business growth tactics while competing against top university teams worldwide.  
The newly selected EIC team—comprising Monit Chawla (3rd Year, ECE), Kvincy (2nd Year, ECE), Jia Chawla (2nd Year, Production), and Nikita (2nd Year, Civil)—earned their place through a wild card selection. Their journey has been guided by their mentor, Mrs. Shivani Gupta, and co-mentor Mr. Simranjit Singh, whose strategic insights have played a crucial role in refining their approach.
