
Demand to solve the problems of the public market
SAS Nagar, May 14 - A delegation led by President Ratan Singh of Janata Market Phase-3B1 Mohali met Municipal Corporation Mayor Amarjit Singh Jiti Sidhu and demanded to resolve the problems faced by the shopkeepers of the market. On this occasion, the delegation also gave a demand letter to the Mayor of the Municipal Corporation.
SAS Nagar, May 14 - A delegation led by President Ratan Singh of Janata Market Phase-3B1 Mohali met Municipal Corporation Mayor Amarjit Singh Jiti Sidhu and demanded to resolve the problems faced by the shopkeepers of the market. On this occasion, the delegation also gave a demand letter to the Mayor of the Municipal Corporation.
The delegation told the Mayor that sewage water overflows on the road outside the Janata Market, Temple, Ramgarh Bhavan, which creates a foul smell and makes it difficult for commuters to pass through. He said that a complaint is filed every month and repairs are also done but its effect lasts only for a week. Then the sewer lines get blocked. They demanded that new sewage lines be laid.
He said that the bathroom of the market is also in bad condition. There are broken seats, dirty wash basins and broken tiles. He demanded that all these deficiencies be removed.
The Mayor assured the delegation that he would ensure necessary action in this regard and resolve the problems of the market shopkeepers. Jatinder Singh Happy, Davinder Singh Bunty, Sannu Madan, Bikramjit Singh Hunjhan were also present on this occasion.
