SAS Nagar, March 20: For the last 11 days, piles of dry leaves have been lying in the local Phase 2 park number 19, which have not been picked up yet, due to which the people visiting this park are facing a lot of inconvenience.
In this regard, Jagroop Singh, President of Residents Welfare Association Phase 2, said that due to the change in weather, leaves are falling from a large number of trees, due to which leaves are visible everywhere in this park.
He said that leaves are kept in piles in this park, which have not been picked up yet. When there is a strong wind, these leaves fly and scatter far and wide. He said that complaints have been made to the Municipal Corporation Mohali many times in this regard, but no action has been taken. He said that various types of animals are also being born in these piles of leaves, which can spread some disease. They demanded that the piles of dry leaves lying in various places in this park be removed and the park be cleaned properly.
