Patna, March 19- RJD president Lalu Prasad Yadav appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday after being summoned in connection with the probe into the land for job scam. During this, a large number of RJD workers gathered on the road leading to the central agency's Bank Road office here and raised slogans in favor of Lalu.
Earlier on Tuesday, Yadav's wife Rabri Devi and elder son Tej Pratap Yadav were questioned by the agency for about four hours. During this, Lalu Yadav's younger son and political heir Tejashwi Yadav said, "The more we are harassed, the stronger we will become.
Of course, this case is politically motivated. If I was not in politics, I would not have been dragged into this. I had predicted after the Delhi Assembly elections that now the agencies will turn their attention to Bihar. It is worth mentioning that the land for jobs scam dates back to the time when the RJD supremo was the Railway Minister in the first term of the Congress-led UPA government.
