Chandigarh, March 18, 2025- SC/ST Cell of Panjab University, Chandigarh today organised special lectures on “Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) Scheme” in the Seminar Hall of Central Instrumentation Laboratory (CIL), Sector-14, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The pogram started with a welcome note of Prof. Jagtar Singh, Co-ordinator-cum-Liaison Officer, SC/ST Cell.  This special lecture on the PMS Scheme of Punjab state was delivered by Sh. Jagdeep Kumar Sharma who is presently as Tehsil Social Justice and Empowerment Officer at Directorate, Social Justice Empowerment and minorities, SAS Nagar, Punjab.  
He talked about Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship Portal that is designated for applying Post Matric Scholarship of SC students of Punjab. He elaborated various provisions of the PMS scheme and free ship card for SC students. He further addressed various queries/questions/problems raised by students/participants staff after the lecture.
Sh. Attinderpal Singh who is working as Tehsil Social Justice and Empowerment Officer at District Administrative Complex, SAS Nagar, Punjab also interacted with the participants. The programme was closed with vote of thanks to all the students, participants and office staff of SC/ST Cell.
