Lalru (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar), March 16: MLA Derabassi Kuljit Singh Randhawa said here today that Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab Government is committed to solve the problems of common people. He said that the aim of ‘Aap Di Sarkar Aap De Dwar’ camps being organized at village level is to provide government services to people by visiting their villages.
He heard the problems of the people along with administrative officials during the Suvidha Camp organized in village Kurli today and directed the officials to resolve them on the spot and said that for the first time in Punjab, all the services available to the people through Seva Kendras can now be availed from home by dialing 1076. He said that except e-stamp and Aadhar card services, the remaining 406 services (which were started from 43 earlier) can now be availed from home by just calling on a single phone.
He said that the government has successfully completed its three years working in public interest, during which importance has been given to the convenience of the people. He said that there was a time when people used to get tired of visiting government offices for their work, but now government employees themselves come and ask about their problems.
He said that this is the biggest difference between the previous government and the current government. He said that decisions like Aam Aadmi Clinic, School of Eminence and making electricity bill zero for houses up to 600 units have been taken keeping in mind the common people.
MLA Randhawa assured that the problems related to village development and water drainage that came up during the camp will be solved within the stipulated time frame and said that for this the newly formed Sarpanchs and Panchayats should also take special initiative and reach out to representatives like us and bring such problems to the notice of the government without delay.
He said that this camp was organized for the residents of Kurli, Satarpur and Sadhanpur. He said that he would always be ready for the development of the villages and towns of his constituency and wherever anyone faces any problem, he would solve it immediately. Officers and employees of Derabassi sub-division were also present on the occasion, who helped in solving the problems of the people.
