Garhshankar- An important meeting of the members of 4161 Master Cadre Teachers Union was held in Gandhi Park, Garhshankar regarding transfers. In the meeting, the government was demanded to give a chance to 4161 teachers in general transfers during the new session.
Addressing the meeting, 4161 Union Vice President Balkar Singh Mangania, Sandeep Gill said that recently the Honorable Education Minister Harjot Bains had assured that during the upcoming session, 4161 teachers will be given a special opportunity for transfers, so the Education Minister should fulfill his promise.
Addressing the meeting, Iqbal Singh Ludhiana said that teachers are working 200-250 kilometers away, while a large number of posts are vacant in their native districts.
Teacher leaders said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has also reiterated many times that the employees serving in remote areas will be sent to their respective districts. During this time, teacher colleagues like Dalvinder Singh, Manpreet Boha, Bagga Singh, Kuldeep Singh etc. were present.
