
Review meeting of Sikh Museum and Guru Ravidas Museum held.
Chandigarh, September 24 - Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini today chaired a review meeting regarding the construction of Sikh Museum and Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Museum to be built in Kurukshetra at Haryana Niwas. Union Minister for Power and Housing and Urban Affairs Shri Manohar Lal along with other senior officials were present in the meeting.
Chandigarh, September 24 - Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini today chaired a review meeting regarding the construction of Sikh Museum and Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Museum to be built in Kurukshetra at Haryana Niwas. Union Minister for Power and Housing and Urban Affairs Shri Manohar Lal along with other senior officials were present in the meeting.
The meeting discussed the design and construction work of both the museums in detail. Suggestions were taken from the officials and instructions were given that the work of the projects should be completed within the stipulated time. The Chief Minister said that the museums will preserve the memory and teachings of the Gurus and inspire the youth with their philosophy of life and ideals.
Also, suggestions were taken in the meeting regarding the subject matter, architecture and location of the museum, so that the project not only looks magnificent but also clearly displays its social and historical importance.
Union Minister for Power and Housing and Urban Affairs Shri Manohar Lal said that the committees formed on the construction work of both the monuments should discuss in detail and also take suggestions from the intellectuals of the society.
In the meeting, the state's Heritage and Tourism Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma, former MP Shri Dushyant Kumar Gautam shared their suggestions by connecting online. During this, Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Rajesh Khullar, Principal Secretary Shri Arun Gupta along with some senior officials were also present.
