Hoshiarpur- As per the directions of Honorable Commissioner Food and Drug Administration Punjab and Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur Dr Pawan Kumar Shagotra, under the leadership of District Health Officer Dr Jatinder Bhatia, Food Safety Officer Mr Vivek Kumar and his team organized a training for various fast food street vendors at ANM Training School today for the people under the Healthy Punjab. In which about 100 fast food street vendors participated.
Dr Jatinder Bhatia, while inaugurating the training, said that the main purpose of such trainings is to provide clean and quality food to the people. What are the standards that are very important to follow while preparing and serving food is the main purpose of this training. This training was given by expert trainers of FSSAI.
 Small street vendors and street food vendors participated in the training. All of them were explained in detail about the FSSAI guidelines, food safety and hygiene rules. Lab technicians Mrs. Rajbir Kaur, Arvinder Singh and Ram Lubhaya were present on this occasion.
