Share Market: Nifty falls below 22,000 on second day of trading week

Mumbai, March 4- Indian benchmark indices opened lower on Tuesday amid weak global cues. Selling was witnessed in auto and IT sectors in early trade. At around 9.30 am, the Sensex was trading at 72,722.72 down 363.22 points or 0.50 per cent while the Nifty was trading at 21,993.50 down 125.80 points or 0.57 per cent.

According to experts, the uncertainty created by US President Donald Trump is increasing in global trade. Meanwhile, in the Sensex pack, Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, Nestle India, Infosys, Tata Steel, M&M and Titan were the top losers. While only ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and SBI were the top gainers.
