The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), SAS Nagar is an Institute of National Importance established under the NIPER Act 1998, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. A one day Symposium on Dissolution Science and Drug Development at NIPER, SAS is being organized on 4th March 2025 (Tuesday) at NIPER Collaboration Centre, Sector 67, SAS Nagar, Punjab.
The symposium is organized by All India Pharmaceutical Association Consortium (AIPAC) in collaboration with Society for Pharmaceutical Dissolution Science (SPDS), Federation of Pharma Entrepreneurs (FOPE), Indian Drug Manufacturers Association (IDMA) and NIPER, SAS Nagar.
It aims to bring together industry professionals, academic researchers and regulatory experts to discuss advances in dissolution science, its applications in drug development and emerging technologies shaping the sector. The event will feature eminent speakers from academia and industry including Mr. Suhas Yevale, Associate Director, Techno Commercial, SOTAX India Pvt. Ltd., Dr. Sanyog Jain, Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics, NIPER, Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, AVP, Analytical Development, Sun Pharmaceuticals, Prof. Saranjit Singh, Former Professor and Head, Pharmaceutical Analysis, NIPER, Mr. Sudeep Ojha, General Manager, Analytical Development, Zydus Lifesciences Dr. Hargovind Seth, Head – QC, Windlas Biotech Ltd.
The State Drug Controllers of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh will be the Chief Guests of the event. Dr. Arvind Kumar Bansal, Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics, NIPER, SAS Nagar will be the chairperson of the event and Dr. Sukhendu Nandi, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis, NIPER, SAS Nagar will be the coordinator of the event.
Around 250 participants from SME pharma companies, especially QC personnel, analytical scientists and formulation development scientists are expected to attend the event.
This event will help NIPER to reach out to the pharma industry in an effective manner and help achieve the objectives of SMPIC (Small and Medium Pharmaceutical Industries Centre), NIPER, SAS Nagar.
