
Farmers of Ghanaur Assembly constituency will soon get compensation for crops destroyed by hailstorm: Gurlal Ghanaur
Ghanaur (Patiala) March 3 - To take stock of the damage to crops due to hailstorm, rain and storm in the recent past, Ghanaur MLA Gurlal Ghanaur, along with SDM Rajpura Avikesh Gupta, Naib Tehsildar Harish Kumar and officials of all concerned departments, Kanungos, Patwaris etc. visited villages Haripur Jhungian, Mehdooda, Manjoli, Ghanauri Kheda, Sarla Khurd, Sarla Kalan etc. and took stock of the wheat crop, mustard crop and green fodder crops destroyed by hailstorm.

On this occasion, MLA Gurlal Ghanaur assured the affected farmers that the Chief Minister of Punjab has issued instructions to the concerned department through the district administration for special Girdawari of crops destroyed by hailstorm.
He assured the farmers that the Punjab government is with them in this difficult time. The damage to the crops will be assessed and appropriate compensation will be given soon. MLA Gurlal Ghanaur, while talking to the farmers, said that the damaged crops will be assessed without any discrimination and the real beneficiaries will get compensation soon.
On this occasion, SDM Rajpura Avikesh Gupta said that instructions have been given to the concerned Patwaris to assess the crops damaged by hailstorm. Soon the Patwaris will go to the villages and inspect the crops and send the report so that the affected farmers can get compensation for their damaged crops on time.
