Garhshankar- On the call of the United Kisan Morcha, a meeting of farmers was held in village Sikandarpur by Kirti Kisan Union regarding the preparations for the Kisan Mazdoor Mahapanchayat to be held in Moga on January 9. In which all the farmers were invited to reach Moga on January 9.
Addressing the farmers, the state vice-president of the organization Harmesh Singh Dhesi and district secretary Kulwinder Singh Chahal and block secretary Kulwant Singh Golewal said that instead of accepting the demands of the farmers, the BJP government is working cunningly to implement farmer-killing policies. The farmers sitting on the borders of Haryana are not being allowed to go to Delhi. The health of the farmer leader sitting on hunger strike is deteriorating day by day. The BJP government should talk to the farmer leaders.
He issued a directive and called upon all the people to raise their voice against the anti-people policies of the government. Farmer leaders Harbans Singh Rasoolpur, Santokh Singh, Sandeep Singh Mintu, Harjinder Singh, Kartar Singh etc. were present in today's meeting.
