Association and President Amar Singh Dhaliwal and General Secretary Gurmail Singh Mojowal said that the girl Chetna was admitted to PGI immediately after the accident. Her leg was so seriously injured that the doctors said that the leg may have to be amputated, but the girl's father brought his girl to Fortis Hospital where the doctors immediately admitted her and started the treatment and the girl's leg has been operated successfully.
He said that when the retirement association came to know, the association took immediate action and with the help of retired employees the tune of Rs 50,000 and if required, more help would be provided. On this occasion, the finance secretary of the association Charan Singh Lakhanpur, vice president Gurmail Singh Garcha, organization secretary DP Hoshiarpuri, member Charan Singh were present.
