Garhshankar 27 February- On the call of Sanjha Teacher Morcha Punjab, the employees of Block Garhshankar burnt the effigy of the Education Minister and protested. Under the leadership of Pawan Goyal, head of Government Teacher Union Block Garhshankar 1 and Ashwani Rana, head of Block Garhshankar 2, the employees raised slogans against the government for not implementing the agenda set by the Education Minister in the meeting.
On this occasion, district leader Naresh Kumar gave a strict warning to the government and said that if the government does not make the temporary employees permanent, does not restore the old pension, does not regularize the computer teachers in the education department, does not release the outstanding amount of the employees soon, then the protest against the government will be intensified in the coming time. It is also worth mentioning here that despite heavy rain and bad weather, a large number of employees participated in the protest.
After raising slogans against the Education Minister and the government, the effigy of the Education Minister was cremated near the bus stand. On this occasion employee leaders Raj Kumar, Narinder Kaur, Parjinder Singh, Hardeep Kumar, Parminder Singh, Davinder Kumar, Sandeep Badesaro, President of Old Pension Restoration Struggle Committee Block Garhshankar 2, Satpal Minhas, Manjeet Singh, Davinder Singh, Dilbag Singh, Manoj, Narinder Pal, Gurvinder Singh, Gopi Ram Forest Department, pensioner leader Balwant Ram, Sham Sunder, Jagdish Rai, Major Singh, Shingara Ram, Naresh Kumar CHT, Manoj Kumar, Nitin Suman, Jaswinder Singh, Surinder Kumar, Harjeet Singh, Hoshiyar Singh, Balwinder Kumar, Manjeet Banga, Jasbir Singh and a large number of employees were present.
