Garhshankar 24 February - Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar's team reached the finals in the Gyanu Parchandu Quiz Competition being organized by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee's Directorate of Education for the colleges running under the management of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee at Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College Fatehgarh Sahib under the leadership of Secretary Education Engineer Sukhminder Singh.
College Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira said that students from more than 30 colleges participated in the Gyanu Parchandu Quiz Competition. He said that a three-member team consisting of college students Jaswinder Kaur B.A. B.Ed. 3rd Year, Diljeet B.Sc. B.Ed. 3rd Year and Kuldeep Kaur B.Sc. (Medical) 3rd Year participated and the team performed brilliantly and entered the first semi-final and now the college girls' team has been selected for the final competition.
He said that out of 30 teams, 16 teams were selected for the semi-finals and now out of these 16 teams, the college team has entered the finals. He said that in the final competition to be held on February 27, the students will be asked questions on religion, current affairs and general knowledge, history, political science, geography and economics, science, IT and environment, heritage, culture and sports.
Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira congratulated the students on reaching the final competition and wished them good luck for a good performance in the final competition.
