
Desh Bhagat University and Smart Healthcare sign MoU for healthcare and education
Mandi Gobindgarh, February 20 (Paramjit Singh Parwana) Taking a significant step towards promoting collaboration between academia and healthcare industry, Desh Bhagat University (DBU) and SMART Healthcare (iGreat DigiHealth Private Limited) have signed a MoU to enhance collaboration in healthcare education, research and technology.
Mandi Gobindgarh, February 20 (Paramjit Singh Parwana) Taking a significant step towards promoting collaboration between academia and healthcare industry, Desh Bhagat University (DBU) and SMART Healthcare (iGreat DigiHealth Private Limited) have signed a MoU to enhance collaboration in healthcare education, research and technology.
The MoU was signed by Rehana Amir, Founder and CEO of Smart Healthcare and Dr. Sandeep Singh, President of Desh Bhagat University. Dr. Harsh Sadavarti, Vice President of Desh Bhagat University, and Arun Malik, Director of Operations, Desh Bhagat University Americas School of Medicine were also present on the occasion. The key areas of this collaboration are joint community health initiatives, establishment of smart AI-based health kiosks to provide accessible healthcare in rural and urban areas, and conducting preventive healthcare awareness campaigns in schools, colleges and corporate organizations.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Rehana Amir emphasized on the transformative potential of AI and digital technologies in revolutionizing healthcare. On the occasion, President Dr. Sandeep Singh highlighted the importance of academia-industry partnerships in the evolving healthcare landscape.
Vice President Dr. Harsh Sadavarti expressed gratitude and said that collaborating on Smart Healthcare will provide invaluable industry experience and practical experience to his students.
