It has been said in these prohibitory orders that many people from other states and outside districts come to the district for jobs/work etc. Apart from this, students/learners who have come from other states to study in other educational institutions/organisations, people associated with various professions/businesses as paying guests and employees providing services in call centres are also living on rent.
Many of these people are from drug-addict, anti-social and criminal background and create ruckus in rented premises and public places. Landlords do not register the information of these tenants with the police, due to which there is a fear of deteriorating law and order. These orders will remain in force from February 11, 2025 to April 10, 2025.
