Jalandhar- Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee President Ajmer Singh, General Secretary Prithipal Singh Marimegha and Cultural Wing Convenor Amolak Singh said that all the committees have responded enthusiastically through letters and public appeals to the democratic, people-oriented organizations of Punjab and especially the memorial committees organizing programs of patriotic fighters in the villages of Punjab.
All the organizations raising their voice against public issues, democratic issues and the Home Minister's announcement to erase the stigma of communist revolutionaries based on history are also giving priority to participating in the 28th conference in their programs.
Their office is constantly receiving messages that they are coming to attend the conference with great pomp, paying homage to the fragrance and footprints of the soil of their city. The representatives of the committees drew the attention of the office of Deshbhakti Yadgar Hall that the wounds of fake police encounters in the 70s and 80s are still seeping into the hearts of the people. Today Punjab is again being rapidly pushed towards a police state.
Therefore, there is deep concern among the people that if they do not stand like a wall in front of the communal fascist attack of the BJP government, then the day is not far when the workers, farmers, employees, rational, democratic movement of Punjab will be crushed and the wind of dark history will once again blow in the heart of Punjab.
Therefore, all the organizations have greatly appreciated this bold and serious initiative of Deshbhakti Yadgar Committee. The committee is proud that on June 28 at 11 am people will gather in Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall to show their solidarity.
This convention will be addressed by Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee members Dr. Parminder, Darshan Khatkar and Mangat Ram Pasla. After the three speakers, a very disciplined symbolic march will be taken out. After this, food will be arranged for everyone.
