Garhshankar, February 11- The 22nd state level Olympian Jarnail Singh Memorial Football Tournament organised by Olympian Jarnail Singh Memorial Football Tournament Committee Garhshankar at Khalsa College's Olympian Jarnail Singh Football Stadium concluded with an indelible mark. In the club level final match of the tournament, Young Football Club Mahilpur won by defeating Olympian Jarnail Singh Football Academy Garhshankar by a margin of 3-2 goals.
In the college category final match, the team of Khalsa College Mahilpur won by defeating Khalsa College Garhshankar by a margin of 6-5 on penalty kicks. In the village level final match, Dhamai won by defeating Simbli by a margin of 2-0. The winning team of the club category was given a cash prize of Rs 15 thousand.
The tournament prizes were distributed in the presence of tournament committee patron former MLA contractor Surinder Singh Bhulewal Rathan, president Mukhtiar Singh Heer, patron Suchha Singh Mana Canada, Dr. Harvinder Singh Bath senior vice president and personalities present on behalf of the committee. In the end, committee president Mukhtiar Singh Heer and the supporting personalities from the committee were felicitated with mementoes and all were thanked.
