Mahilpur, February 7- Post Graduate Commerce Department of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Mahilpur organised a one day workshop on 'Employment opportunities in service sector'. Sawan Jha and Prabhjot Kaur from IBT Centre, Hoshiarpur participated as resource persons in this workshop.
On the occasion of the workshop, Head of the Department Dr. Bimla Jaswal shared the welcome address and as the keynote speaker, shared information about the personalities present and told about the performance of the department. On this occasion, Resource Person Sawan Jha gave detailed information to the students about the employment opportunities in service sector in the country and abroad after completing 10th, 12th and graduation in Commerce.
On this occasion, the speakers also shared information about the possibilities of taking admission in various employment oriented courses after passing various entrance examinations. During the Q&A session organised during the workshop, the speakers answered the questions asked by the students. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh expressed his gratitude and motivated the students to learn from such workshops.
The stage was conducted by Dr. Rakesh Kumar. On this occasion, teachers of Commerce Department, Prof. Amarjit Singh, Prof. Harpreet Kaur, Prof. Gurpreet Kaur, Prof. Anjali, Prof. Savita and other students were present.
