Garhshankar- Olympian Jarnail Singh Memorial Football Tournament Committee Garhshankar has organized qualifying matches for the teams participating in the rural category matches of the 22nd state level Olympian Jarnail Singh Memorial Football Tournament being organized from 7th February to 11th February at the local Khalsa College and selected the teams.
During this, in the match between Posi and Chak Phulu, the team of Posi won by a margin of 4-2 goals. Similarly, the team of Ghago Roranwali emerged victorious by defeating Chak Gujjar by 2-1. The team of Fatehpur Khurd defeated Panama by a margin of 5-4. Similarly, in the quarter final matches, Ghago Roranwali defeated Posi by 2-0, Dhamai defeated Samundra by 3-1 and Simbli defeated Paddi Sura Singh by 3-0 and entered the semi-finals. During these matches, college principal Dr. Amandeep Hira, Satnam Singh Sangha New Zealand, Yog Raj Gambhir, Ranjeet Singh Khakh, Shalinder Singh Rana, Amandeep Singh Bains, Sajjan Singh Dhamai, Tarlochan Singh Goli blessed the players and started the matches.
