MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa inaugurated infrastructure works worth Rs. 49.44 lakh in five schools of Derabassi constituency

Dera Bassi, May 2: MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa today inaugurated infrastructure works worth Rs. 49,44,840 in five schools in Derabassi constituency under Punjab Education Revolution.

Among these, development works done at a cost of Rs. 16 lakh 15 thousand (two modern classrooms) in Derabassi Government Primary School, Village Kheri Gujran were inaugurated and dedicated to the students.
Development works done at a cost of Rs. 5 lakh 10 thousand (boundary wall and other works) were inaugurated at Government Primary School Ward No. 9, Village Mahiwala.
Development works done at a cost of Rs. 9.55 lakh (modern classrooms) at Government Elementary Smart School Ward No. 15, Village Haripur Kuda were inaugurated and dedicated to the students.
Development works done at a cost of Rs. 13.81 lakh (two modern classrooms and boundary wall) at Government Primary School Village Jawaharpur were inaugurated.
Development works done at a cost of Rs. 4.83 lakh at Government High School Village Jawaharpur were inaugurated.
On this occasion, congratulating the students and teachers of these schools on the new infrastructure, MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa assured that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is working day and night to make public sector education and health facilities of standard and high quality.
He said that the aim of the Punjab Education Revolution is to change the look of 12,000 government schools at a cost of Rs 2,000 crore and show the opposition leaders who unnecessarily criticize the government that development work is not done just through words but on the ground.
On this occasion, students of these schools, their parents, teachers, Panch-Sarpanch and local dignitaries were present.
