
4 new services including e-shram started in Seva Kendra - Deputy Commissioner
Hoshiarpur- Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that keeping in mind the public interest, 4 new services (e-shram card, fire arms free zone service, new/renewed stamp vendor license and passport size photo print) have been included in the service list of Seva Kendra. Giving detailed information about these services, the Deputy Commissioner said that the fee for e-shram card is only Rs 10, in which a person/beneficiary can register his labor record. Any citizen of 16-59 years can apply for this service, provided that he does not take any government or non-government fund.

Apart from this, new licenses of fire arms free zone service will be given to religious places, schools, colleges, marriage palaces, hotels, guest houses, public parks, government offices, shopping malls, cinema halls etc. Whose fee is Rs 1700 which is valid for five years. To start the work of a stamp vendor, one can apply for a license by paying a fee of Rs 710.
Apart from this, citizens can also get the service of passport size photo printing of 6 photos for Rs 30 and 12 photos for Rs 50 at the service centers. District IT Manager Karamjit Singh said that these 4 new services have been started in the service centers by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, which will directly benefit the citizens.
The Punjab government is working rapidly in the e-governance sector and is increasing the services of the service centers. He said that there are a total of 28 service centers in the district where better services are being provided to the people. Service Center Manager Gursevak Singh and Master Trainer Harsimranjit Singh were also present on this occasion.
