Hoshiarpur- Punjab Backward Classes Land Development and Finance Corporation (Backfinco) Chairman Sandeep Saini has strongly condemned the incident of breaking the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. He said that Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar is an inspiration for all of us and the people of Punjab will always respect him.
But some mischievous elements are doing such disgusting acts to spoil the atmosphere of Punjab and it is being investigated thoroughly. The police is fulfilling its responsibility to identify and arrest the real conspirators behind this heinous crime.
He said that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has also strongly condemned this incident and said that those responsible for this incident will be given strict punishment. He has demanded from the administration that the matter should be investigated thoroughly and strict action should be taken against the culprits.
Chairman Sandeep Saini said that Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar is the name of a great thinker, which can never be erased from the minds of Indians. It is because of the laws of the Constitution given by him that today the country is rising above discrimination and achieving equality.
