SAS Nagar 20 January 2025: To make the unemployed people of Punjab Backward Classes, Minority Groups (Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, Parsis, Buddhists, Jains) and Economically Weaker Sections aware about the loan schemes being run to provide loans at affordable interest rates for self-employment, Chairman Mr. Sandeep Saini and Mr. Sandeep Hans, IAS have organized an awareness camp in collaboration with National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC).
As per the guidelines of Executive Director, Punjab Backward Classes Land Development and Finance Corporation (Backfinco), an awareness camp is being organized at village Dharamgarh, Sub-Tehsil Banur, District, SAS Nagar on 23/01/2025 at 11:00 am. Loan schemes being run by Backfinco will be made known. In this regard, Superintendent-cum-Implementing Officer Sukhwinder Singh and Field Officer Rakesh Garg SAS Nagar informed that the corporation runs various loan schemes for self-employment for the backward classes, minority groups and economically weaker sections, in which loans are provided for 55 different businesses and technical and professional courses including dairy farming, poultry farm, beekeeping, vegetable growing, general store (grocery, animal feed), clothes/readymade garment shop, carpentry, blacksmith work, electrical/electronics sales and repair, hardware, beauty parlor, tailoring and spare parts etc.
Interested persons are requested to attend the camp and fill their forms so that they can get information about the schemes being run by Backfinco and can avail the benefits of loan schemes on the spot.
