On this occasion, in the match organized between the teams of village Saroya and Panama, the team of Saroya defeated the Panama team by a margin of 3-2 goals and registered victory. On this occasion, Jaspreet Singh DSP Garhshankar participated in a grand manner and encouraged the players. He motivated the players to play an important role in bringing awareness among the people to end the drug menace spread in their society. DSP Jaspreet Singh said that sports is the biggest weapon to curb drugs. He said that sports have an important contribution in creating a healthy society. He said that various programs are being organized by Hoshiarpur Police under the awareness campaign against drugs being run across the district.
On this occasion, College Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira praised the awareness campaign being run by Punjab Police against drugs and said that it is very important to make the society aware for the eradication of drugs. On this occasion, SHO Baljinder Singh Malli, Olympian Jarnail Singh Memorial Football Tournament Committee Cashier Yog Raj Gambhir, Superintendent Parminder Singh shared their views regarding the campaign against drugs. Football coach Hardeep Singh Gill, coach Manjit Singh Panam and others were present on the occasion.
