Mandi Gobindgarh, January 3 – The Department of Performing Arts and Media of Desh Bhagat University celebrated the advent of the new year by offering a bhog of Sri Sukhmani Sahib Paath at its campus. The event was organised to seek divine blessings for peace, harmony and success as the institute embarks on another year of academic and artistic achievements.
Faculty members, students and staff from various departments participated enthusiastically in the event. The bhog of the Paath was offered during the event followed by Ardaas for the well-being of all. On this occasion, Dr. Kanwaljit Singh and student Poonam enthralled the congregation with Shabad Kirtan. On this occasion, Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University Dr. Zora Singh thanked the Almighty and stressed the importance of beginning the new year with positive energy and spiritual foundation.
On this occasion, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur highlighted the need to adopt spiritual teachings in daily life to maintain the values ??of unity and peace.
The program concluded with the distribution of Prasad and Langar, a symbol of unity and equality. During this, Chancellor's Advisor Dr. Varinder Singh, Vice President Dr. Harsh Sadavarti and Director of Performing Arts and Media Dr. Surjit Kaur Patheja, among others, also attended the program.
