Nawanshahr- As per the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Dhiman, an anti-drug awareness program was organized by Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sports Club Kangana Bet under the leadership of Assistant Director Youth Services, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Ravi Pal in the government school of the village.
On this occasion, club president Kuldeep Singh told the students about the ill effects of drugs and motivated the children to participate in sports and other co-curricular activities. On this occasion, anti-drug poems and songs were presented by the school students.
Thanks to the very good preparation done by Madam Hardeep Kaur and Madam Lalita Rani, Khushi, Meenakshi, Manpreet, Amrit Singh, Gurleen, Komalpreet, Dilpreet etc., very beautiful poems and songs were presented. During this, the children were also encouraged by giving cash prizes.
Finally, school teacher Pankaj Sial thanked the club members and the Youth Services Department. Gurpreet Kaur, a steno typist of the Youth Services Department, had a major contribution in this awareness campaign.
