Bhunarheri (Patiala), August 28 - Like every year, the Gugga Navmi Mela was celebrated with great pomp at the ancient Gugga Madi Durbar of village Nain Kalan in Sanur district. On this auspicious day, thousands of devotees from Haryana, Punjab, Himachal, Rajasthan and other places pay obeisance and wish-fulfilling devotees offer sweets, jaggery bhelis and beautiful chadars and get blessings at the temple of Guga Zahar Pir. .
On this occasion, arrangements were made for langar by the Gugga Madi management committee and the villagers. Chief Sevadar Bhagat Karnail Singh Rana said that the Mela was celebrated with great devotion and all the Sevadars of the town and the area did their service in a big way. He said that the Kabaddi tournament could not be held due to standing water in the sports ground, but this fair has been postponed to the next Guga Navmi on September 11.
On this occasion, all the residents of the city and members of the Gugga Madi Management Committee were present.
