He was a passionate pathologist, a teacher par excellence, an amazing academician, an ardent researcher, and an admirable administrator.
Today we have lost an inspirational teacher, a true Karmayogi, a noble soul beyond words and the greatest human being to have set foot on this earth.
He embraced everyone in the Dept right from the safai karamcharis to the residents to the consultants. He is a LEGEND and will live on in the world of Pathology and Medicine and in the hearts of his students.
Even in his death he has been exemplenary by donating his body to the Dept of Anatomy for research and teaching purpose which was the MOTTO of his life. This is the biggest gift he could give to 'LEARNING and is the first faculty to have done it.
To be useful was the crux of his life and even in death he will be serving the surgeons to learn, learn and learn more from him.
Today we salute the First FACULTY OF DEPT OF PATHOLOGY, PROF BN DATTA
