43 employees donated blood at IT Park Chandigarh*

Chandigarh 16 April 2025- To meet the shortage of blood in hospitals due to summer, a blood donation camp was organized at the company's office, DLF Building, IT Park, Chandigarh under the leadership of Sanjeev Kumar Pathania, HR and Country Manager of Basware India Private Limited. This blood donation camp was organized in collaboration with Vishwas Foundation Panchkula and Indian Red Cross Society UT Chandigarh. The camp started at 10 am and continued till 3 pm.

This blood donation camp was organized in collaboration with Vishwas Foundation Panchkula and Indian Red Cross Society UT Chandigarh. The camp started at 10 am and continued till 3 pm.
President of Vishwas Foundation Sadhvi Neelima Vishwas said that the contribution of Ranveer Singh Pathania, Country Focus Team Members Menu Marwaha, Samael Deep Singh, Utkarsh Singla in the successful organization of this blood donation camp is very commendable. The special thing about this camp was that the company's Country Manager Sandeep Kumar Pathania also donated blood. Blood Bank GMCH Sector 32 Chandigarh team collected 43 units of blood under the supervision of Dr. Mehak. 55 donors registered to donate blood in the camp, 12 people refused to donate blood due to health problems. Poonam Malik, Nodal Officer of Indian Red Cross Society Chandigarh, joined the camp and encouraged the donors.
Sanjeev Kumar Pathania, HR and Country Manager of the company said that donating blood by people improves heart health and reduces the risk of heart diseases and stroke. Excess iron in the blood can increase the risk of heart attack. Regular blood donation can control the level of excess iron. Which is good for heart health. He thanked all the members of Red Cross Chandigarh and Vishwas Foundation.
All the blood donors who came to this blood donation camp were encouraged by giving appreciation letters. Shyam Sundar Sahni, Savita Sahni, Satya Bhushan Khurana from Vishwas Foundation, Training Supervisor Sushil Kumar Tank from Red Cross Chandigarh and other dignitaries were present on this occasion.
