
Punjab Government Committed to Village Development and Solving People’s Problems – Dr. Ravjot Singh.
Hoshiarpur- The Punjab Government is committed to the all-round development of villages and immediate resolution of people’s problems. Taking concrete steps in this direction, Local Government Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh visited Tappa, Court, Bahera, Bari Khad, Kukanet and Dehrian villages in Kandi area of ??Shamchurasi assembly constituency of Hoshiarpur.

Taking concrete steps in this direction, Local Government Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh visited Tappa, Court, Bahera, Bari Khad, Kukanet and Dehrian villages in Kandi area of ??Shamchurasi assembly constituency of Hoshiarpur.
During this, he met the villagers, listened to their problems seriously and instructed the officials for immediate solutions. Dr. Ravjot Singh said that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is continuously striving to strengthen the infrastructure of villages and to resolve the grievances of the people on priority basis.
He stressed that no deficiency will be left in the development of villages. Special schemes are being implemented to strengthen facilities like roads, clean water, electricity, sewerage and health services. In village Tappa, the Panchayat representatives raised issues like boundary wall of the Panchayat Ghar, kitchen, toilet, shed in the crematorium, drinking water and electricity before the Cabinet Minister.
On this, Dr. Ravjot Singh said that funds have been released for a new borewell and to solve the problem of electricity, a special cable will be laid from Janauri to the villages of Kandi area. He also informed that the construction work of roads in Kandi constituency will start soon. He said that the problem related to the Panchayat Ghar will be solved soon. During this, he also reviewed the road construction work being done from Kukanet to Himachal border. He said that this will provide better transportation facilities to the local people.
The Local Government Minister assured the villagers that their problems will be resolved within a stipulated time. He directed the officials to continuously monitor the progress of development works in rural areas and resolve the grievances of the public on priority basis. During this, the villagers raised issues like road repair, internet problem and improvement in power supply, on which the Minister assured immediate action. Dr. Ravjot Singh clarified that public service is the main objective of the government and all possible steps will be taken to make the villages self-reliant. At the beginning of the visit, Dr. Ravjot Singh observed two minutes silence for the spiritual peace of the tourists martyred in the recent terrorist incident in Pahalgam and paid tributes to the martyrs.
