He said that if farmers utilize their entire crop waste in a scientific and commercial manner, they can not only double but also increase their income by tenfold. "There is immense value hidden in agricultural waste, which can be used properly to revolutionize the village economy," he said.
Vivek Verma also highlighted that industries should treat their waste water properly. He said, “Water is life, and it is the responsibility of industries to respect it. Water purification and recycling is the only way to industrial sustainable development.”
He said that SEDL is working on the ‘Waste to Wealth’ mission, under which agricultural and industrial waste is being converted into energy, resources and sources of income through new technologies.
