Derabassi/Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, December 16, 2024: Under the directions of Dr. Gursharanjit Singh Bedi, Director, Animal Husbandry Department, Punjab, an Animal Awareness Camp was organized under District Level Escort Scheme at Village Chhat, Tehsil: Derabassi today.
This camp was inaugurated by Dr. Shivkant Gupta, Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. Free medicines were provided to the animal husbandry during this camp. Information about the schemes being run by the department was given in this camp by Dr. Lokesh Kumar, Assistant Director Animal Husbandry, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. 
Apart from this, Dr. Bhupinderpal Singh, Senior Veterinary Officer, Derabassi, Dr. Rajesh Narang Senior Veterinary Officer, Mohali and Dr. Asul Arora, Dr. Davinderpal Singh, Dr. Munish Kumar, and Dr. Prabhak Pathak provided information about animal diseases and maintenance.
