Garhshankar 14 December - General Secretary of All India Jat Maha Sabha, Punjab and Spokesperson of Punjab Kisan Mazdoor Union Ajaib Singh Boparai while talking to the media said that due to the negligence of the local administration, the Garhshankar-Nangal road has become a bloody road. Because due to the overloaded tippers passing through this road in hundreds every day, new accidents are happening every day.
He said that on Nangal road alone, about 18 deaths have been reported due to these overloaded tippers. But the local administration is still sleeping soundly. Ajaib Singh Boparai said that due to the overloaded tippers and other heavy vehicles passing through this road, it has become difficult for the locals and other people of the area to pass through. Because some accident is happening every day due to these vehicles. Due to which the people of the area are afraid to even pass through this road.
He said that it is a matter of great sorrow that despite all this, neither the local administration nor the police have taken any concrete steps to relieve the people from this problem. He said that if the police administration does not take any concrete steps to stop these overloaded vehicles during the day, then they will take the people of the area along and hold a big protest against the local administration for the next few days.
