SAS Nagar 10 December 2024: The Youth Services Department is running a drug de-addiction campaign in all the districts of the state under the directions of the Punjab Government. The main objective of the drug de-addiction campaign is to free the young generation from the increasing influence of drugs. Due to this campaign, a street play against drugs was organized by the Youth Services Department in village Bagindi of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar district in collaboration with the Youth Services Club and Gram Panchayat Bagindi. This play was presented by Sarfarosh Rangmanch.
 An attempt was made to explain to the people through the play how drugs completely destroy the human body by hollowing it out. Awareness is needed to prevent drugs, only then can it be avoided. Captain Mantej Singh Cheema, Assistant Director Youth Services Department SAS Nagar said that awareness programs, street plays, rallies, speeches etc. play an important role in stopping the increasing influence of drugs day by day. Awareness program against drugs is a commendable initiative of the Punjab Government. 
Sarfarosh Rangmang and Youth Club President Dali Singh Shah, Vishal Singh, Mandeep Kumar Mandeep Singh Lote, Gaurav, Varshdeep Singh, Aryan Mahajan, Shivam Sood etc. presented their art during the play. The department honored the Sarfarosh Rangmang team with the support of the village panchayat. On this occasion, Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Youth Services Club Bagindi President Sukhi Radhor, Didar Singh, Sarpanch Gurdeep Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Amandeep Singh etc. club members and villagers were present.
