Appointment of Dr. Narinder Kumar in the Expert Group for Consumer Price Index Revision by the Ministry of Labour and Employment
Chandigarh December 3, 2024: Dr. Narinder Kumar, Professor and Head, Department of Statistics, Panjab University, Chandigarh has been nominated as a member of the Expert Group constituted by the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India. This expert group focuses on Base year revision of Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (CPI-IW) and Consumer Price Index for Agricultural Labourers & Rural Labourers (CPI-AL & RL).
