Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar December 02, 2024: Deputy Director Dairy, SAS Nagar, Kashmir Singh said that under the guidance of Cabinet Minister of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development Department Gurmeet Singh Khudian and the able leadership of Director Dairy Development Department, Punjab Kuldeep Singh Jasowal, the second batch of 2-week free dairy training course is being conducted by the Dairy Development Department, Punjab Dairy Development Board to SC beneficiaries on December 9 at Dairy Training Center, Chatamli.
He said that under this training scheme, training will be given only to those persons whose age is between 18 years to 50 years, who have passed at least fifth standard, and belong to the Scheduled Caste. This training is being provided free of cost by the Punjab Government, which does not have any fee. Moreover, the trainees will also be given a stipend of Rs. 3500 per trainee after the training. Lunch will also be provided during the training.
Dairy Inspector Sardar Karanvir Singh Bawa appealed to the youth belonging to the Scheduled Castes that by getting this dairy training, they should take full advantage of the department's schemes and take their dairy business to commercial lines. In today's time, dairy business should be adopted to change the crop cycle of agriculture.
