Financial assistance of Rs 2,51,000 to District Red Cross Society

Hoshiarpur: Making a commendable contribution in the field of social service, Cambridge International School Dasuha provided support of Rs 2,51,000 to the District Red Cross Society. The school chairman Sanjeev Vasal and his son Raghav Vasal personally handed over a cheque of Rs 2,51,000 to the Deputy Commissioner-cum-President District Red Cross Society. This amount was released by the Deputy Commissioner for the Red Cross Medical Relief Fund.

Secretary Red Cross Society Mangesh Sood said that on the occasion of Children's Day, a charity show was organized by Cambridge International School Dasuha. In this program, students set up stalls of food, drinks, games and books. During the program, the students and the school management collected clothes, stationery and toys which were given to the Red Cross Society. 
The Deputy Commissioner directed that the clothes, toys and stationery collected by the students of the school be distributed to the needy through the Red Cross camp. He appreciated the entire management team of Cambridge International School Dasuha for their social welfare work.
