Una, November 29: To create awareness about prevention from natural and man-made disasters, community exercises will be conducted by the NDRF team of the 14th battalion at various places in the district from 2 to 14 December. Giving this information, Chairman of District Disaster Management and Authority and Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal said that the NDRF team will hold a meeting with the District Disaster Management officers at the district headquarters on December 2 at 11 am and collect information related to bridges, inventory resources and natural and unnatural incidents that have happened in the district in the last five years. In this episode, the NDRF team will visit the area affected by floods in the monsoon season 2024 in Bela-Bathri, industrial area of ????sub-division Haroli on December 3.
He informed that under Gagret sub-division, awareness and capacity building programmes would be organised for students/staff on December 4 at RVMAPA Jadla and on December 5 at RVMAPA Bhanjal at 10 am.
Under Bangana Sub Division, awareness and capacity building programme for students/staff will be organised on 6th December at Ravmapa Mandali and on 7th December at Ravmapa Hatli at 10 am.
Under Sub Division Amb, awareness and capacity building programme will be organized for students/staff on 9th December at 10 am in RVMAPA Nehriyan and RVMAPA Takarla.
He informed that in Haroli sub-division, awareness and capacity building program will be organized for students/staff at RVMAPA Kangar on 11th December and at RVMAPA Bathri on 12th December and at RVMAPA Kuthar Kalan under sub-division Una on 13th December at 10 am. Apart from this, on 14th December, a meeting will be held with the officers of District Disaster Management and Authority at the district headquarters and a report of the information collected from various areas of the district will be presented.
