Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar 26th November: The Language Department, Punjab is organizing literary and cultural activities in various districts of Punjab in view of Punjabi Month. Under this series, under the sound leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Bhagwant Mann and Higher Education and Languages ??Minister Sardar Harjot Singh Bains, under the guidance of Director Language Department, Punjab Sardar Jaswant Singh Zafar, an event on the topic of 'Punjabi Language and Punjabi Cinema' is being organized by the Office of the District Language Officer, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar.
Giving information in this regard, District Language Officer Dr. Darshan Kaur said that this event is being organized on 28.11.2024 at 10.30 am at the Office of the District Language Officer, District Administrative Complex, Room No. 520, SAS Nagar.
Mrs. Ashika Jain (IAS), Deputy Commissioner, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar will attend this event as the chief guest. The event will be presided over by Prof. Yog Raj (Head, School of Punjabi Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh) and Amitoj Mann (film actor, director and writer) will be the special guest. The keynote speaker of the event will be eminent playwright and film writer Prof. Pali Bhupinder Singh.
