
‘CM’s Yoga Shala’ is making people aware of health
SAS Nagar, November 20, 2024: As part of the efforts initiated by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to provide healthy health to the people of the state to make them disease-free, yoga classes are being conducted daily by expert yoga trainers at various places in the district under ‘CM’s Yoga Shala’. Giving this information, SDM Mohali Damandeep Kaur said that the yoga classes being conducted at the blocks of Mohali Sub-Division ‘CM’s Yoga Shala’ are trying to make the common people aware of health.
SAS Nagar, November 20, 2024: As part of the efforts initiated by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to provide healthy health to the people of the state to make them disease-free, yoga classes are being conducted daily by expert yoga trainers at various places in the district under ‘CM’s Yoga Shala’.
Giving this information, SDM Mohali Damandeep Kaur said that the yoga classes being conducted at the blocks of Mohali Sub-Division ‘CM’s Yoga Shala’ are trying to make the common people aware of health.
He said that regular expert yoga coaches have been made available by the Punjab government for yoga classes, out of which yoga trainer Divyan is conducting 6 yoga classes daily at Nyangao Mohali, in which the first class is at Shivalik Vihar Nyangao from 6:05 to 7:05 am, the second class is at Community Center, Tribune Colony, Kansal Nyangao Mohali from 10:30 to 11:30 am, the third class is at Binsar Mahadev Temple, Gobind Nagar, Nyangao Mohali from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, the fourth class is at Adarsh Nagar Nyangao Mohali from 1:15 to 2:15 pm, the fifth class is at Rose Public School Adarsh Nagar Nyangao Mohali from 3:45 to 4:45 pm and the sixth class is at Shivalik Vihar, Nyangao Mohali in the evening. It is held from 5:00 to 6:00, where yoga training is given without charging any fee.
Divyan, trainer of ‘CM Di Yogshala’, said that yoga classes start from 6:05 am and run till 6:00 pm. The timing of yoga sessions is kept flexible as per the convenience of the people so that the coach is called according to the time that suits their batch. She said that on an average, a coach conducts at least five yoga sessions in a day.
She said that yoga is not only a physical exercise but also an effective way to correct our unhealthy lifestyle. Regular yoga practice not only makes physical health healthy but also ensures our mental well-being.
