
Eight-day orientation program on National Education Policy started in Punjabi University
Patiala, November 5 - Malviya Mission Teacher Training Center at Punjabi University has started an eight-day orientation program on National Education Programme. Director of this center Prof. Raman Maini said that this program organized under the guidelines of UGC-MHRD is being conducted through online mode which will continue till November 14.

Director of this center Prof. Raman Maini said that this program organized under the guidelines of UGC-MHRD is being conducted through online mode which will continue till November 14.
He said that the objective of this program is to prepare teachers for academic excellence, effective professional performance and active participation in National Education Policy by improving them in the work of national reconstruction. Dean College Development Council Dr. Balraj Saini, who attended the inaugural session of the program as the chief guest, spoke about the importance of this program during his speech.
He said that teachers should attend this orientation program to understand the complete structure of NEP 2020. With such involvement, teachers can gain awareness about the National Education Program and learn about its various aspects. It may be mentioned that the role of course coordinator of this orientation program is played by Dr. Parveen Lata, teacher of Mathematics and Dr. Navjot Kaur, teacher of Computer Science and Engineering Department.
