Garhshankar - The historic Roshni Mela is going to start from today at the Dargah of Darbar Miya Baba Qadar Baksh Ji in village Birampur under Tehsil Garhshankar of district Hoshiarpur. It is known that this Roshni Mela is organized every year from 5th November to 8th November with the cooperation of the management committee, city dwellers, area residents and NRIs and in this Roshni Mela, famous artists and Qawwal parties of Punjab make their presence felt.
According to the information received from the management committee, Roshni Mela will start on 5th November in the evening with lighting of lamps in the Darbar; after that, the famous Qawwal of Punjab Karamat Ali Qawwal Party will organize a mehfil in Malerkotla Darbar. 
On the second day of Roshni Mela, on 6th November, G Khan Musical Group, on 7th November, Hasan Manak and on 8th November, the famous duo of Punjab Surjit Bhullar-Jannat will make their presence felt in the Darbar and till late night, a religious drama will be presented by Dharamvir Padesi and Party.
