Nawanshahr/Banga - The art festival of the year 2024 was organized under the leadership of Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder at Sikh National College Banga, the premier educational institution of the area. Sardar Balraj Singh Atwal UK, Sardar Manraj Singh Bindra UK, DSP Daljit Singh Khakh and Sardar Ajaim Singh Bindra attended as guest-e-khas.
Along with them, Prof. Pargan Singh and Sardar Baljinder Singh Atwal also arrived specially. The event started with the students singing the words of Gurbani. Principal Sahib presented bouquets of flowers to the guests and said that the contribution of these personalities for the progress of the college is very valuable. He also said that the teams appearing in this event will be a part of the Youth Festival organized by Guru Nanak Dev University.
 On this occasion, Sardar Balraj Singh Atwal said that we are fortunate that God has enabled us to contribute financially to the work being done for the betterment of the college. Prof. Pargan Singh Huron wished the teams participating in the Youth Festival. During the program, the students enthralled the audience by presenting different genres of folk songs, ghazals, classical singing, ludi, bhangra, theatre, fine arts and literature etc. DSP Daljit Singh Khakh highly appreciated the presentations of the students.
Prof. Gurpreet Singh moderated the stage. Dr. Gurwinder Singh (Dean Cultural) said the words of thanks for the guests and commemorative medals were also presented to the guests. On this occasion, all the employees of the college associated with the Department of Art and Culture, Prof. Manish Sandhir, Dr. Nirmaljit Kaur, Prof. Neelam Kumari, Dr. Kumari Sikha, Prof. Kishore, Prof. Dil Niwaj, Prof. Neetu Singh, Prof. Sham Singh, Prof. Sakshi, Prof. Manju, including Number of students were present.
